As a teacher of a student completing an alternate assessment judged against alternate achievement standards (AA-AAS), you are invited to take part in a research study that investigates the competencies required by teachers to administer AA-AAS. This information will be used to assist NAAC in understanding the competencies required by teachers to administer these complex assessments.

The following survey should take no more than 5-7 minutes to complete. By continuing with the NEXT button below you are consenting to participate in the research. Once you answer all the questions and click on the submit button, your answers will be included in a database with answers from others who complete the survey from across the Nation.

Every effort will be made to maintain confidentiality with all surveys. Your information will be combined with information from other teachers taking part in the study and will be shared in a comprehensive report to be completed by next August, 2007. Neither your consent nor refusal to participate in the study carries any risk or benefit for you. The study is voluntary and refusal to participate involves no loss of benefits. You may leave the site at any time during completion of the survey and choose not to submit your answers. The site will remain open until June 1, 2007 when it will be taken offline and the results analyzed.
